Rachel stepped forward and affectionately looped her arm through Yanis's, "Uncle Dylan and I didn't

have any plans today, so we came over to visit and have dinner here."

Rachel probably thought that Yanis hadn't heard anything just now, so she explained with a forced

smile. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Yanis didn't bother to expose anything and walked into the house with Rachel and Dylan.

Once they entered the living room, Yanis finally got a clear look at the woman who had been talking to

Zane by the French windows.

For a moment, Yanis felt as if Lucia had come back to life.

In that moment when the woman looked up, Yanis couldn't help but feel a bit nervous, reminiscent of

the way Lucia used to look down on her.

Following behind Yanis, Rachel also seemed a bit tense at the sight of the woman. However, it was

only for a moment, and Rachel coldly entered the living room, pulling Yanis's hand in the process and

whispering, "Let's go in."

In the living room, besides the woman, neither the maid nor Zane were present.

Rachel pulled Yanis inside, and Dylan followed along with an expressionless face.

As soon as the three of them entered the living room, before they could even take a seat, the woman,

taking on the demeanor of a hostess, looked towards them and said, "You've come?"

After the woman finished speaking, Yanis clearly felt Rachel's grip on her wrist tighten considerably,

almost as if she was going to break it.

Rachel's expression wasn't good, and she calmly asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Aunt Rachel, what are you talking about? This is my home, why can't I be here?" The woman's tone

was coquettish, and although her words didn't sound very hurtful, they were still unpleasant to the ears

and even a bit annoying.

Before Rachel could retort, the woman suddenly stepped forward and stood in front of Yanis, smiling at

her, "Miss Thompson, right? I'm Lisa, I belong to Zane."

This introduction couldn't help but be taken in the wrong way.

However, before Yanis could respond, Rachel spoke up first, "Lisa, can you show some respect?"

Lisa lightly laughed and looked at Rachel, "Aunt Rachel, what do you mean? I haven't acted the way

Dylan has. Why are you so anxious?"

After answering Rachel, Lisa then turned to Dylan with a full smile, "Dylan, it's been a long time."

Dylan's expression was murky, and his gaze at Lisa was extremely complicated.

Although Yanis felt somewhat flustered, she could still sense that there was some story between the

three of them just from their confrontation.

Despite the fluster, Yanis had experienced so much before that this current situation didn't completely

overwhelm her.

"Aunt Rachel, who is she?" Yanis looked at Rachel and Dylan and asked softly.

Rachel first glanced at Lisa's face, then she whispered to Yanis, "She's Zane's aunt."

The way Rachel said "she's" was somewhat subtle.

But Yanis didn't dwell on it. After Rachel finished speaking, Yanis turned to look at Lisa with a

composed expression and said openly, "So, you're the aunt. Did Zane know you were coming?"

Lisa, seeing Yanis's attitude, was surprised for a moment, but it quickly passed.

"I'm coming to my own home. Do I need to inform anyone?" Lisa said, then turned around and sat on

the sofa, "Please have a seat, Zane should be back soon."

Yanis looked at Lisa sitting on the sofa, her expression unchanged. She didn't pay any attention to Lisa

but turned to Rachel and Dylan and said in a low voice, "Aunt Rachel, Uncle Dylan, please take a seat.

I'll go upstairs and change my clothes."

Rachel nodded, "Go ahead, I'll call Zane."

"No need to call, I've already contacted him," Yanis replied.

As Yanis was about to go upstairs, she heard a conversation from downstairs.

Rachel's voice was somewhat excited, but she was controlling her tone, afraid of disturbing someone,

"Lisa, you should know your identity as a Bush. Don't indulge in wishful thinking!"

Lisa, on the other hand, seemed nonchalant, "No matter what my identity is, didn't my second brother

sleep with me back then?"

Yanis froze in place upon hearing Lisa's words.

Lisa's words were like a knife that stabbed right into Rachel's heart, causing her to lose her composure.

She stood up and was about to confront Lisa.

Dylan reached out and held her back, "Alright, this is Zane's place. You've made a mess, how do you

expect him to handle it?"
