Read My Past is Just Prologue By Louisa Dillon Chapter 119 – Your Breathing Disturbs Me

After Janet finished speaking, she turned her eyes away from Nathaniel.

The man’s expression was as cool as ever, nothing could be seen.

Willis looked blank, and Alfred silently prayed for him.

“Boy, you need to learn the art of speaking before you learn the language,” he thought.

Nathaniel didn’t intend to leave. Instead, he got himself a chair and sat next to Janet, looking at her

computer screen leisurely.

The man’s breath was so close, which interrupted Janet’s thinking.

But after a moment, she returned to normal, pretending that he didn’t exist. However, he was still a

disturbance, so her efficiency was slower than before.

“Well, I thought you could do better.”

The man’s mocking words rang in Janet’s ears.

She glared at him angrily, “Stay away from me, and I can finish this faster. Your breathing disturbs me.”

Nathaniel didn’t know how to reply.

Janet became sharper after the divorce.

Nathaniel glanced at her and said in an unhurried tone, “It’s not about me but your competency.”

“You sound like you are some master,” Janet coldly replied. She would prove herself to Nathaniel!

Seeing the tense atmosphere between the two, Alfred quickly spoke, “Mr. Webster can speak eight

languages, including Esbanol.”

Janet gave him a cold look, full of warning.

In order not to waste her time, she didn’t say anything, but she wouldn’t endure them again and again. Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.

Alfred lowered his head and pretended not to see it.

Janet glanced at Nathaniel again. She couldn’t tell that Nathaniel was a language master. She

assumed he only knew how to say hello in eight languages.

Nathaniel caught the disgust in her eyes, and his face darkened a bit.

Janet ignored him and concentrated on translating.

For the next two hours, Janet focused on translating in front of the computer. Willis couldn’t help, so he

served tea and water

to help.

Nathaniel switched from the chair to the sofa, waiting for the result.

Alfred secretly sighed for Janet in his heart.

Alfred didn’t know Janet could do Esbanol. He wondered if Janet could really do the job.

After Janet finished translating, it was already dusk. The setting sun shone into the room through the

window, and a ray of soft afterglow fell on her face.

She stretched her arms and flexed her wrists, printed out the translated contract, and handed it to

Willis.

“Done.”

Just as Willis was about to look through the pages, thinking of his poor Esbanol, he scratched his head

embarrassingly and handed the contract to Nathaniel.

“Mr. Webster, have a look?”

Nathaniel took over the contract and opened it for a quick review. He originally wanted to find fault, but

after a quick review, he found that there was not a single fault.

Professional vocabulary was accurate. There were no mistakes or omissions in the content. Even the

tense, singular, and plural parts were flawless.

He didn’t want to admit it, but the translation of this contract was indeed perfect.

“Good,” Nathaniel said lightly.

Hearing that, both Alfred and Willis breathed a sigh of relief.

Janet also breathed a sigh of relief. But it was not that she didn’t have confidence in her translation, but

that the favor she owed him was finally repaid!

However, she didn’t expect Nathaniel could really understand it. Janet underestimated Nathaniel.

“Since there’s no problem, I’ll go first.”

After finishing speaking, Janet was about to leave with her mobile phone and room card but was

stopped by Nathaniel.

Janet frowned with a cold expression, “Mr. Webster, is there anything else?”

Nathaniel didn’t think too much about it. He just subconsciously wanted to stop her when he saw that

she wanted to leave.

He gave Alfred a look, and Alfred immediately understood and took out a card from his briefcase.

“The bank card contains your reward. Take it.” Nathaniel held the card between two slender fingers and

handed the card to Janet with a careless look.

He was trying not to embarrass himself. Yet his word and tone sounded so haughty to Janet.

She frowned unhappily and said lightly, “Give it to Willis. I don’t need it.”

Nathaniel darkened, feeling annoyed in his heart.

“She helped him and wanted to give him money? Why does she like him so much? He’s totally just a

brat!” he thought.
