Chapter 1870
Chapter 1870
Tina said very understanding^, "People cry for partings in life or death."
Amin nodded.
Tina nodded slightly and didn't disturb him anymore. She went straight to Wilson.
Wilson's call was not over yet. Tina waited for a few minutes before he hung it up. Then they walked out of the cemetery along the road paved with stone bricks.
When they arrived in front of their car, Amin also stepped out from a path on the other sideₒ
He had regained his composure, and no one could see that he had been crying his heart out just now. Nevertheless, he always had an aura of sorrow.
They met.
Because they were not familiar with each other, they just nodded before going into their cars.
The Rolls-Royce drove back to downtown from the cemetery.
Amin drove in a business car of the same color as Wilson's car. They moved out of the cemetery together, and Amin was going after them all the way. After reaching downtown, the business car took a turn and disappeared at an intersection.
Tina looked away from the rearview mirror.
She recalled the unforgettable scene when she met him in the cemetery and couldn't help sharing it with Wilson, and then sighed with emotion, "He indeed has an infinite deep love toward his girlfriend!"
Hearing this, Wilson pushed his glasses with his middle finger and smiled lazily. "I love you more than he loves his girlfriend."
Tina snuggled up to him with a smile.
Seeing them hugging from the rearview mirror, Terry was still holding the steering wheel steadily.
Well, he's not jealous of them at all.
After returning from the cemetery, they did not date outside. Instead, they rushed to the kindergarten.
They had something very important to do.
Today was Isla's five-year-old birthday, and they were going to celebrate it.
Isla was very energetic today. She had always been very popular in kindergarten, and all the teachers and children liked her.
When she came out of kindergarten, she held many dolls in her hands, and her schoolbag was stuffed with dolls. These were all gifts from other children.
Tina had already ordered the birthday cake and told the maid at home to prepare the ingredients in advance - she was going to cook a birthday feast for her daughter in person.
Wilson wanted to hold a birthday party for Isla, but Tina didn't agree.
It was the first birthday of them being together. Therefore, she hoped they could have a nice meal together and celebrate it without anyone else. It might not be very exciting, but they could feel the warmth and love of a family.
The cake was Isla's favorite, with colorful birthday candles on it.
Wearing a birthday cap and singing a birthday song, Isla put her chubby little hands together and made a wish in a childish voice. "I want to be with my mom and dad forever!"
When Tina and Wilson heard this, they both smiled brightly.
After she blew out the candles, there was a knock on the door.
The maid hurriedly went to open the door.
After a while, she returned to the dining room and reported, "Sir, Madam, there is a guest from the Amery family. He said he was here to deliver things!"
Then she leaned slightly to the side, showing them the guest after her.
Tina looked up and recognized the person who came in. It was the Amery family's housekeeper.
He said respectfully, "Miss Hall!"
Tina nodded.
He smiled and handed over a gift box in his hand. "This is a birthday present for Isla from Old Master Amery and Mr. Amery. They wish her a happy birthday!"
Tina was not surprised. When she was in the Amery family, Bill asked her about Isla's birthday in private. He even wanted to invite them to celebrate it in the Amery family, but she refused.
Though Bill was very disappointed, he did not push her, so she was not surprised that they would deliver a gift.
The gift was a set of digital products for children: a smartwatch, a camera, a tablet, etc. All of them were in pink with cartoon images, which were particularly popular among children.
Tina accepted them with a smile.
Unexpectedly, the housekeeper handed over another gift in his right hand. "And this one is from Old Madam Amery!"
Tina was slightly surprised. "Old Madam Amery's gift?"
"Yes!" He nodded.
The gift from Old Madam Amery was much more luxurious: a crown inlaid with fine small diamonds and a large piece of agate in the middle. It was a hair ornament designed for children by a jewelry brand.
Surely it was a gift from her, Tina thought to herself and couldn't help thinking of the arrogant look on Old Madam Amery's face.
It had never occurred to Tina that she would prepare a birthday present for Isla...
After completing his mission, the housekeeper said goodbye. "I have delivered the gifts, and I won't interrupt!" Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
After that, the maid saw him off.
Tina looked at the gifts and then looked at Isla, who was all smiles. She still felt it was incredible.
It was late at night.
Before the Amery family's villa, Abby came out of the car in a champagne fishtail dress and a fur cape. She had just attended a banquet held by the brand company that she worked for. At the banquet, many people expressed their high expectations for her to win the chance to join the GDA International Fashion Exhibition.
She said modestly she would try her best.
When she walked into the villa, she met the old housekeeper who had just entered the house. He nodded and greeted, "Miss Amery, you're back!"
The housekeeper had served in the Amery family for decades.
Ever since Old Master Amery was in charge of the Amery's Group, he had worked here for the Amery family. He was also very close to Old Master Amery, so everyone here respected him.
It was the same with Abby. She took the initiative to ask, "Why did you go out so late at night?"
The housekeeper replied with a smile, "I just went to Miss Hall's house to send gifts to Isla!"
Upon hearing this, Abby nodded with understanding and said, "Well, Mr. Amery and Old Master Amery asked you to do that, right?"
Their welcome attitude towards Tina had already been undeniable. She had expected them to do so.
"Yes!" The housekeeper nodded. Then he paused and added, "And Old Madam Amery, she also picked up a gift for Isla!"
Abby stopped in her tracks as she went upstairs.
As early as the last time when Tina brought her daughter to the Amery family, she could tell that Old Madam Amery was much nicer to Isla than she was to Tina.
The housekeeper nodded and said, "Miss Amery, it's late. You should go to sleep early!"
Abby replied, "Yes."
She was going upstairs, silhouetted against the light, so the housekeeper did not see her glacial face.
Holding the hem of her dress, Abby headed back to her room.
After changing her clothes and taking a shower, she started a video call.
A few seconds later, it was connected.
From her phone, she could see Silvia face the camera and carefully speak up, "As you ordered, everyone is staying up late to draw..."
Behind her were many designers working hard with dark circles under their eyes.
