Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1871

Chapter 1871

At noon, cracks of warm sunshine in winter filtered through the shutters.

Just as Tina finished sorting out some files on the computer, her mobile phone on the table vibrated.

Wilson sent her a text message, saying that he was downstairs.

Bonnie leaned over half of her body and wanted to ask Tina what she wanted to eat for the takeout at noon. However, Tina had already picked up her mobile phone and the coat on the back of the chair - she was going out.

Bonnie was clear at a glance and joked, "Are you going on a date with President Chin again?"

Tina usually kept a low profile at the TV station. Even though she was a designer with some achievements, she did not show off. Neither had she ever mentioned her relationship with Wilson to anyone. Among her colleagues, only Bonnie knew the inside story.

Hearing her words, Tina flushed. "We just want to have lunch together!"

Seeing this, Bonnie asked with a smile, "Since you two are deeply in love, when will you get married?"

Tina's face turned scarlet.

She accidentally disrupted Wilson's proposal, and he said he would take her and Isla back to the Chin Family on Christmas Eve. About the marriage, Wilson mentioned they would marry in the following spring when the flowers bloomed, but the specific date was not yet determined.

Tina thought about it and said shyly, "I'll send you an invitation to our wedding then!"

Hearing that, Bonnie immediately said, "Then that's a deal!"

Tina said with a smile.

After coming out of the office building, she saw Wilson's car waiting on the roadside.

He himself drove the black Mercedes G65 over.

The car parked there was particularly conspicuous, like a giant beast.

Tina didn't lie to Bonnie. The lunch break was not long, so she just came out to have a quick meal with Wilson. But by the way, she also had something to do.

After the lunch in an Italian restaurant, Wilson drove to a coffee shop.

After the car stopped, Wilson unfastened his seat belt and said, "Tina, go ahead. I'll reply to the two emails sent by Terry when waiting for you in the car!"

As he spoke, he had already picked up the laptop and put it on his knees.

Tina blinked. "Won't you going with me?"

Wilson curled his lips, his eyes behind the glasses lazy and unrestrained. "I am more suitable to play the big hidden boss!"

Tina burst into laughter. "Yes, big boss!"

Tina closed the door and walked into the cafe house.

Many guests were there, but it was not noisy with the graceful sound of the piano, and the waiters were walking softly around.

After Tina pushed the door open and went in, she glanced around the hall. Finally, her eyes fell on a man sitting in a corner near the wall.

She walked straight over.

Tina pulled out a chair, sat down, and asked, "Miles Wyle?"

On the opposite side sat a man in his thirties. He looked very thin, and his clothes were very inconspicuous. His hair was a little long, and he wore black-framed glasses. He looked like a technerd. Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

Hearing her words, Miles nodded. "Yes, it's me!"

Tina smiled and said to the waiter next to her, "Latte, please!"

The waiter soon brought up the latte.

Tina took a sip of it. Miles slowly pushed up his glasses and then said faintly, "Recently, Abby has put a lot of pressure on us. She has never been satisfied with any works we designed. All the designers in the office haven't been home for more than a week. We eat, drink, sleep, and draw designs there, day and night!"

Tina nodded and smiled. "The deadline of the final round is coming soon. No wonder she is so anxious!"

"She is anxious, afraid that she can't come up with decent designs! But..." He paused and abruptly changed the topic. He laughed and said, "Anyone who offers me money is my master. Besides, no one has more money than President Chin. So, I guess he is my master forever!"

Tina was at a loss what to say.

Nevertheless, money is potent.

Tina silently turned, took out a folder from her bag, and handed it over.

Miles took it and opened it. After looking at what was inside, he seemed to be shocked and utterly convinced. Then, he put the folder away.

He picked up the coffee cup next to him and drank up the remaining two-thirds of the coffee in one go. Then he stood up and said, "Miss Hall, Abby will come to the office to inspect in the afternoon. I will go back first!"

Tina nodded. "Take care!"

Miles carried the folder under his arm and walked away, his back slightly bent.

Since Tina took her seat, they just talked no more than five minutes before they got up and left, as if they had nothing to do with each other.

When Tina returned to the car, Wilson had just finished answering emails.

The lunch break was almost over, and Wilson sent her back to the TV station.

On the other side, Miles, who had only met with Tina for a short time, returned to an office building at the end of the street. He went up the stairs of the emergency passage, stopped at the middle floor, and then entered an office with the studio's name plaque hanging ahead.

After entering, he walked past a very common front desk.

Then, he entered the office full of people sitting in rows. They all quietly immersed themselves in hard work with digital brushstrokes in their hands.

Miles quietly returned to his seat.

A female designer next to him leaned over and said in a low voice, "You are finally back. Just now, I lied to Silvia that you were in the bathroom. Hurry up and draw. Miss Amery will come soon!"

All the designers here knew who their boss was.

All of them were serving Miss Amery.

Before they entered, everyone had signed a confidentiality agreement, and none could afford the great fine of breaking contracts.

Beyond that, it was difficult for these designers good at fashion design to make a name for themselves. Now, they could at least earn a decent salary by working for Ab by, even though they were not allowed to sign their names on their works.

As soon as they finished speaking, a loud 'ding' came from the elevator.

Then they heard the sound of high heels.

In an elegant cream-colored Prada suit in the latest style, Abby walked into the office gracefully with a limited-edition Louis Vuitton bag in her hand.

She cast a glance at her assistant Silvia, who was holding a thick stack of design drawings in her arms. Silvia immediately got it and coughed twice to draw everyone's attention.

Everyone in the office immediately stopped what they were doing and looked up at them.

When everyone's gaze was on them, Abby put on a more giant smile. She put the bag on her other wrist and stretched out her hands to Silvia.

After pulling out the thick design drawings from her arms, Abby threw them all into the trash can without hesitation.

Everyone couldn't help but hold their breath nervously.

Abby, still wearing that elegant smile she faked, said slowly in a gentle voice, "I've scanned at the design drawings you made in the past two days, but I'm still not satisfied with any of them. There is not much time left. I hope everyone will rally all of your energy and remember good things come to those who wait. Thank you for your hard work!"

After that, she took Silvia into her separate office inside.
