Desmond was sitting comfortably in a single armchair in the VIP room with his legs crossed. He seemed to be in low spirits.

The secretary took the coffee and tea from the waiter. Desmond glanced at them, raised his hand, and said impatiently, "Nasty coffee. Stale tea! Did you ask them? When can we take off?"

Their original flight was temporarily canceled for no reason in the morning.

The sensitive secretary felt that the boss was in a bad mood not because the flight had been canceled, but because of something else.

In the morning, Desmond came with a sullen expression. When he attended the meeting, he scolded the managers of the three departments in a row and even his secretary.

So, what a secretary could do when the boss was angry?

Of course, he had to forgive him.

The secretary changed a glass of ice water and was about to appease him by saying that they could board the plane in 40 minutes. When he inadvertently looked up, he saw a familiar figure outside through the glass wall of the VIP room.

He was surprised. "... Mrs. Chin?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Desmond, sitting on the armchair, suddenly stood up.

Mia and Lyle sauntered to the boarding gate, each with an ice cream cone from the dessert stand.

She knew that Desmond's flight was in the afternoon, so she couldn't run into him at the airport.

Therefore, when her eyes met the secretary's, her head buzzed.

Mia, madly praying that the secretary didn't recognize her, wanted to quickly pull Lyle away from the scene, but it was already too late. Desmond strode out of the VIP room with the secretary and walked over.

She was dumbfounded and looked at Lyle for help.

How could she deal with the critical situation?

Desmond thought his secretary got the wrong person and was taken aback when he saw her. "Why are you here?"

Well, Mia wanted to say it was a coincidence... But he wouldn't believe it.

She felt like crying. "But wasn't your flight in the afternoon?"

The secretary next to Desmond answered with a smile, "Mrs. Chin, it was in the afternoon, but the flight was temporarily canceled. So he held two more meetings and arrived here to take the flight in the evening."

Mia had nothing to say to reply.

The secretary saw the boarding pass in her hand and said happily, "What a coincidence! We are still on the same flight!"

Mia was slack-jawed.

...

With a frown, he stared at her. "You haven't answered me yet. Why are you here?"

Lyle supported her and silently encouraged her with eyes, telling her to hold on and lie to make him happy.

...

Mia coughed unnaturally and had to brace herself to say, "Lyle has something to do in Shanghy City, so I'm here to company her and give you a surprise..."

Desmond raised an eyebrow, his tone full of suppressed joy. "Do you want to go on a business trip with me?"

Mia felt too guilty to look at him. "Hmm..."

...

Desmond thought that she was shy and patted her head. "It's fine. I'm equally surprised and happy to see you here."

She couldn't bear to part with him, and he was secretly delighted.

After that, he took Mia and Lyle into the VIP room.

The secretary hospitably served them tea and water. Ever since his boss saw Mia, he was in a good mood.

Half an hour later, they boarded the plane.

Mia obediently entered the first-class cabin with Desmond.

Lyle was sitting behind them.

She bought two economy class tickets, and Desmond upgraded their class.

The seat here was spacious and much more comfortable. Lyle felt the awesome power of money.

Although they were caught on the spot, they got extra benefits. It was just that she had to travel with this loving couple.

Fortunately, she had taken her sweetheart with her- Lyle took out Josiah's signature photo from her bag.

At eight o'clock in the evening, the plane landed.

It was impossible for Mia and Lyle to go to the hotel they had booked because Desmond had arranged rooms for them in another hotel.

Lyle felt that this trip was totally worth it.

To get as closer as possible to their idol, she chose a humble hotel near the venue. While the hotel Desmond booked was a five-star hotel. Not only was it super luxurious, but it was also very close to the location of the concert, within walking distance.

Since they had already had dinner on the plane, they went straight back to their rooms after checking in.

When they separated in the elevator, Lyle whispered in Mia's ear, "Save yourself some energy at night. Remember that we have to support our idol tomorrow night!"

"..." Mia blushed.

After two phone calls, Desmond took off his suit jacket. Seeing that Mia sat still, he couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you going to take a shower?"

Mia subconsciously held the backpack tightly in her arms as he looked over.

In addition to the clean clothes, there were also items to show their love for Josiah at the concert.

She said, "After you!"

"Okay." Desmond nodded. When he reached the bathroom door, he couldn't help but turn around and ask, "Do you want to join me?"

She shook her head in embarrassment. "No, no!"

Desmond walked in alone, feeling a little pitiful.

Hearing the sound of running water, Mia quickly opened her backpack and stuffed all the conspicuous items into the bag bottom. Only then did she let out a sigh of relief.

Desmond was worried that she didn't eat enough on the plane, so he ordered some snacks.

After eating, they lay on the bed.

When Desmond leaned over, Mia couldn't help but think of what Lyle had said in her ear.

She swallowed hard and avoided his burning hot breath. "You've been working for a whole day and just got off the plane. Aren't you tired..."

However, he said, "No."

How could he feel tired when she was on a business trip with him?

He could stay up all night.

Mia wanted to make an excuse to say that she was tired, but before she could say anything, his lips landed on her ear. "Mi, close your eyes."

His call with affection stirred up ripples of sweetness in her heart.

In addition to her deceased grandfather, Desmond's grandpa also called her in that way, his tone full of love.

Desmond called her much more affectionately.

He gazed lovingly at her while calling her with deep emotion. She could feel that she was a treasure in his heart.

Almost bewitched, she closed her eyes.

She indulged her desire and spent the night of lust with him.

The next day, Lyle was particularly disappointed at Mia's failure to live up to her expectations- Mia walked feebly, her eyes misty. She knew that Mia had completely discarded all her earnest suggestions last night.

When they parted, Lyle seriously reminded her to find a good excuse to get out at night.

Mia was so worried.

At noon, Desmond found some time to go back to the hotel to have lunch with her.

Mia took the opportunity to ask, "I want to have dinner with Lyle tonight and go for a walk. I may come back a little late. Is that okay?"

After that, she gazed at him with expectancy.

"Sure." Desmond nodded.

He wanted to go with her, but he should give her some time to hang out with her friend, so he finally agreed. Nevertheless, he wouldn't let go of the opportunity to ask for something from her.

He added, "Promise me one thing!"

Mia nodded joyfully. "Okay!"

Not to mention one, she was willing to do ten things in exchange for some time alone tonight!

Desmond smiled mischievously, revealing his tiger teeth. "When you're back tonight, take a bath with me."

Mia was stunned.

Could she go back on her words?

Oh, dear Josiah, your fan Mia had to sacrifice so much to attend your concert!
