Chapter 3034
Max snorted. "Mr. Macmaster, you're going to die soon. I'm sure you won't mind sharing your blood with me. By consuming an elite's blood like yours, I guess my capability will improve significantly."
Shock, fury, and despair inundated Lothar as realization dawned on him.
So Max is a vampire who's after my blood. He just wants to consume my blood to achieve his goal of becoming stronger.
After the massive impact of Nathan's punch, Lothar knew he was dead meat.
However, he was one of the strongest elites in humankind. Therefore, he wished that he could die in a dignified manner.
It was too much of a miserable death for one to have their blood sucked out by a vampire and die as a dried husk.
Although Lothar was furious, there was nothing he could do about it.
He was so infuriated that his chest rose and fell heavily. Plus, he was panting so furiously that it seemed like he would take his last breath at any moment.
At that, Max sneered. "Don't be angry. When I become stronger, I will kill Nathan and avenge you. Hahaha..."
After saying that, Max suddenly hunched over and opened his mouth wide, baring his sharp fangs. Then, he bit down on Lothar's jugular artery. Lothar's eyes were wide open, still staring at the person who killed him.
Not long after, Lothar's corpse became like a deflated balloon, dried out and emptied.
After Max sucked all of Lothar's blood, energy filled him to the brim. Plus, he felt himself growing violent as his body struggled to digest the overwhelming energy he just consumed.
"Ah!" Throwing out his arms, Max tossed his head back and howled. Any living thing within a ten miles radius could hear his terrifying cry.
Many hyenas and bats fearfully fled out of the surrounding caves upon hearing his scream.
However, the hyenas did not run for long before collapsing to the floor, dead.
It was the same for the bats as they perished one after another, raining down from the skies.
After Max finished screaming, he slowly straightened his body. His face was contorted viciously, and a grisly pair of bloody wings had grown out of his back.
It took some time before the pair of wings gradually returned to his body.
On the other hand, his contorted face slowly reverted to normal. In fact, he even seemed more dashing than before.NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.
Narrowing his eyes, he looked toward Aploth and grinned. "Nathan, I will make you pay tenfold for the things you did to me back then."
At that moment, Nathan, Colin, Sevan, Kerry, and Hermes were evacuating under the Eurasian elites' protection.
Suddenly, they could vaguely hear a long, blood-curdling scream from far away, causing a shudder to run down their spines.
At that, Nathan furrowed his eyebrows.
Kerry asked fearfully, "What could possibly make such a terrifying sound?"
Hermes and the elites also felt that the scream was scary. However, everyone was clueless about what could make such a sound.
Nathan replied, "Some weird
creatures may be hiding in Doom
Canyon. However, this isn't
something we should worry about. We should be more concerned
about our opponents from Ariarica hunting us down."
Upon hearing that, Hermes nodded repeatedly. "That's right. Let us go right now."
It took a long while, but Nathan and the rest of his group successfully returned to Eurasia with the help of a few Eurasian secret organizations located overseas.
After returning to Eurasia, the Eurasian elites took their leave. As they rarely appeared in public, they were unaccustomed to showing up in front of others.
However, before they left, they once again stated that they would do anything for Nathan as long as he called for them.
Nathan, Colin, and Sevan kept a low profile and returned to Channing by plane.
Penny and her family were waiting anxiously at the airport. When Nathan appeared, white-haired and sitting in a wheelchair haggardly, Penny could not help but cry n distress.
Rushing up to him, Penny hugged Nathan and sobbed. "Hubby, what happened to you?"
Nathan smiled. “I depleted all my energy while facing off some enemies. Don't worry. I'll be fine after a few months' rest.”
