Sergio let out a defiant snort and gave his subordinates the order, “Get him!"

A few of the Curia's warriors then charged at Kaiden.

They were all moving at insanely fast speeds and had the strength of special forces soldiers. On top of that, the Curia had also equipped them with weapons specially designed to do tons of damage to dark clan members.

Ordinary werewolves and vampires would probably have died in that encounter.

However, they were going up against Kaiden, the infamous Rainy Night Killer, and son of the Alpha Wolf.

Kaiden sneered when he saw them initiate the attack. “Heh... Such ignorant fools!"

Those words had barely left his mouth when he began his transformation process.

In just a second, Kaiden had fully transformed and was charging at the Curia's warriors at lightning speed.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

The warriors took heavy blows to their chests before they could even bring their weapons down on Kaiden. They were all sent flying into the air before landing on the flooded roads, spurting out mouthfuls of blood.

Sergio gasped in shock when he saw what happened.

He had heard rumors of Kaiden's strength and speed, but he didn't think it was to this extent.

After a brief moment of hesitation, he pulled out his knightly sword and yelled angrily, "I'll kill you, you insolent beast!"

Sergio then charged through the flooded road, his sword leaving a trail of light in the darkness as he thrust it at Kaiden. Kaiden snorted in disdain and drew a large circle with his left arm.

The raindrops that came into contact with his hand then took the form of a round shield made of water.

As Sergio's sword made contact with the shield, however, he felt as though it had clashed against a steel wall.

Sergio then let out a cry as he increased the strength of his thrust.

Bang!

The shield broke into pieces on the spot.

As Sergio looked up, he was shocked to find that Kaiden had appeared right in front of him.

His expression changed drastically, and there was simply no time for him to react at all.

Bam!

Kaiden slammed his fist right into Sergio's chest, sending him flying high into the air. As he crashed into the mud, his sword was knocked out of his hand from the impact and fell to the side. to

Sergio struggled to get back on his feet, only to cough up a mouthful of blood instead.

"Heh... Die, you piece of sh*t!" Kaiden said with a sneer as he prepared to finish Sergio off with another punch.

Suddenly, Sevan charged through the rain at lightning speed and intercepted Kaiden's punch with his own.

Boom!

A deafening noise echoed throughout the area upon impact, and both Sevan and Kaiden were knocked back by a few meters.

Kaiden was genuinely shocked by Sevan's strength.

Sevan, too, tensed up when he realized how powerful Kaiden was.

Suddenly, a few cars came rushing over and stopped by the side of the road.

A group of people then emerged from the vehicles and made their way over with Laura taking the lead.

As though there was an invisible barrier a few centimeters above her skin, none of the raindrops made contact with her body.

Even her hair remained perfectly dry as she walked through the pouring rain. That was a symbolism of how powerful she was.

Laura glared Goldly at Kaiden as she

said, "Rainy Night Killer, you really shouldn't have come after the future Holy Maiden. I will kill you today not only to defend the honor of the Curia but also to prove to Mr. Cross that we are capable of protecting his daughter." to

Kaiden narrowed his eyes when he saw Laura, the legendary Killer Cardinal. "Well, well, well... If it isn't. Cardinal Laura... Very good. I'll kill you then take the Holy Maiden's heart as part of my training. I'm sure my father will view me in a different light once I return to my clan." to

Both Laura and Kaiden were exuding murderous auras as they stared each other down.
