Sextuplets From Ruthless Love

Chapter 182

Clearly, she wasn't avoiding him, so it should be easy to look for her if he wanted to.

In the end, there was only one thing this all pointed to. Someone working close to him had betrayed him.

Colors drained from Martin's face while he was standing by the side.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

He knew that he would have a tragic ending if he offended Trevor's grandfather. However, he would also suffer a similar fate if he messed with Trevor. And now, he would suffer the repercussions.

In that instant, Trevor's eyes lit up in anger. As he turned around and glared at Martin, the former's breathing gradually became rougher.

"Mr. Gulliford! Please listen to me! It's not what you think! I can explain!" Martin frantically said. He knew that he had to explain right this instant, or it would be too late for him.

"I believe you remember what kind of person I am."

With a dark expression, Trevor balled up his fists as a cold aura exuded from his body.

"Mr. Gulliford, I can't help it! My wife is sick, and only Old Mr. Gulliford could get that medicine she needs."

Slap!

The moment he stopped speaking, Trevor smacked him squarely on the face.

"This is not a valid reason for betraying me. Do you remember what I said when you first worked for me?" Gritting his teeth, he forced those words out of his mouth, his voice full of malice.

"I remember. You said the moment I betray you is the day I die. But Mr. Gulliford! I have my circumstances! Please let me explain!"

"No need. Pack up your belongings and scram! Get out of my sight this instant! You can leave the country or emigrate. Just don't let me see your face ever again!"

Trevor looked down at Martin. The former thought that he was kind enough to the latter.

Otherthan Jessica, Martin was the only one who could get out alive after betraying him.

Of course, in Jessica's case, it was a misunderstanding.

"Mr. Gulliford, I'll take my leave now."

Martin hurriedly got up and left, fearing Trevor would change his mind at any moment.

Not long after that, a child pushed the door and walked in.

Trevor felt his heart tighten at the sight of the child. Immediately, he walked to the door, carried Bennett, and walked out of the ward.

"Bennett, promise me you can't let your mommy know that we already knew her real identity, alright? We'll have to pretend that she's Jessica Lockett, okay?" Trevor whispered against Bennett's ear. The man didn't want the child to ruin his plans.

"Okay, Daddy. Don't worry. We want to let Mommy lower her guard so you can start over with her, right?"

Being the smart cookie, Bennett could easily deduce what Trevor wanted based on the clues from the latter's speech.

Trevor was embarrassed. "My son is too smart. As an adult, I will have my privacy stripped bare at this rate.

What do I do? Somebody help me!" Trevorthought in mock anguish.

"It's okay, Daddy. You really don't have to worry. I'll be your best wingman!" Bennett said with conviction, his eyes burning with a sense of duty. Trevor was speechless.

Honestly, he didn't know how to explain himself to Bennett.

From another perspective, it seemed

as if he actually didn't need to

explain himself. Bennett had such an extensive vocabulary. His son even knew how to use the word

"wingman." Sometimes,

Trevorthought his son knew

everything.

As Trevor felt the doubt rising from his heart, he reached out, caressing Bennett's head before gently reminding the boy, "Thank you, Bennett. You're such a good boy. Remember, be careful what you say to Mommy, okay?"

Bennett nodded obediently, and the father and son duo reentered the ward.

Jessica was still crying in front of Yolanda. The moment she saw the duo at the entrance, her eyes lit up. Alas, the light in her eyes disappeared as fast as it came.

Jessica remembered that she hadn't introduced Bennett to Yolanda yet. Bennett, her second son, was exceptionally talented in the field of traditional medicine.

Jessica also recalled that Yolanda would have painful stomach cramps every month. Initially, Jessica wanted Bennett to prescribe some medication for Yolanda's stomach cramps. Unfortunately, the former never thought things would turn out like this.

"Please don't be sad," Bennett comforted her.

Bennett respectfully stood in front of Jessica, but his hands were fidgety. Then, he raised his arm, and his small hand lightly tugged on her sleeve.

"He's so cute," Jessica thought. Despite being happy and comforted by his presence, she couldn't force out a smile.

"Bennett is such a good boy. This lady is very important to me, so I can't help but feel sad."
