We arrived in Tagaytay safely. We chose to stay in my grandma’s house bequeathed to me. This house is the only memory I have left of my grandmother, so even though I was struggling with money, I still didn’t sell it.

Steven poked me.

“Babe, what’s really the reason you bring me here? Do you have a plan to do here with me?” Steven said teasingly. I rolled my eyes to him. God! This man is a-argh!

“Oh! Please.. don’t get me started.” He laughed real hard after I said that.

“Seriously babe, why did you bring me here? Is there a problem? Is there something you wanna tell me?” Even though I was nervous, I still tried to smile.

‘Is this it? Shall I say it? Am I going to do the right thing or the wrong thing?’ I asked myself.

“Steven, can we perhaps enjoy this day? I want to get to know you. Is that okay with you?”

Steven’s face showed surprise at what I said but he agreed.

“Is that the reason you asked me to go in Tagaytay?” I nodded.

“Well, I’m okay with that since I’m handsome.”

He’s really full of himself but what he said is true so I just let him brag his appearance.

The house was a bit dirty so we started cleaning the whole house.

I was busy cleaning when Steven hugged me from my back. I looked at him and asked “why?”

“Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?” I laughed a little with compliments.

“Silly!” I said and smiled.

I faced him and boldly touched his cheek. I wondered, if by the time I tell him the truth, will he be able to look at me like how he looked at me now? Is he still sweet? Or he’ll get mad?

It’s crazy to think but after we did that, I couldn’t get him out of my system. He’s the father of my child, the first man I trusted with myself.

“Why are you looking at me like that, babe?”

I was about to open my mouth to speak when the door suddenly opened and an unexpected guest entered.

“Who are you?” I asked while looking at the unexpected guest.

“Who are you,” she said glaring at me.

“Amanda what are you doing here? How did you find this place? Are you following me?” Steven asked angrily.

“Why are you so mad? Yes. I am following you and I have the rights to do that because I will be the mother of your child, the heir of your company!”

So this is Amanda that Hannah kept on telling me. No wonder she doesn’t like her because she’s a user. It was obvious that she’s just forcing herself to Steven. She’s pretty but I’m prettier than her.

“What are you talking about? You’re going crazy! How many times have I told you that your child is not mine, so why are you still insisting that I’m the father of that when we haven’t been together for a long time?!”

My eyebrows arched as I watched them shouting inside my house. I have no intention of interfering with them because it’s their problem but if this girl move that annoys me, I won’t just sit here and watch her.

I’m not like other women out there who cry on the side and let someone else oppress them. If she curse me, then I’ll curse her too.

“Why did you keep on rejecting me? Is it because of that maid? My God Steven, how many times do I have to tell you that this child is yours? This is your child, your flesh and blood!”

“I know which women I put my seeds in and for your information there is no other woman I put them in.. well.. except for one.” Steven said and turned to me meaningfully. I suddenly blushed remembering what happened to us recently.

“How dare you for cheating on me!” Amandaconda said. Yeah, she looks like a snake.

“Amanda wake up! We broke up for a long time! it’s you who cheated on me first and I moved on so please do the same.”

Ows. So there was something about them. What happened then?

“But Steven I’d still love you. We’re having a baby now. So why are you like that? Didn’t you always want us to have a child? Remember you followed me to Canada 6 years ago to settle things with me. You love me and I know that! That maid is only seducing you. Please come back to me!” Amanda said begging.

So she was the reason why Steven got drunk that night. So she’s the reason why Steven was in Canada 6 years ago.

Well.. too bad for her because I saw Steven that time. She threw Steven away, so I picked him up. Thanks to her because I met Steven there. Thanks to her because Steven became the father of my child.

Because I’m bored watching that girl’s drama so I exited myself to get a sandwich. I got starving while watching them.

“Where are you going babe?” Steven asked.

“Kitchen.. I’ll make a sandwich, I’m hungry.. let’s talk after your business with her,” I said

I went to kitchen and look for mayonnaise but I forgot to bring one earlier.

I thought of something silly to annoy that female witch. She ruined my plan on telling Steven about the truth. This vacation was supposed to be full of our moments but Amanda ruined it.

I’ll get back to her. I smiled wickedly.

“Babe,” I called Steven.

I saw him stop talking and answered “Yes babe?” and turned to me with a silly smile. I smiled too.

I bit the bottom of my lip to stop my laughter then asked him if-

“Babe.. are you done with that?”

“Yes,”

“No. We’re not done talking yet.” Amandaconda interrupted angrily.

“Ahm, babe.. can I ask you to buy mayonnaise?”

“Yes. Sure babe,” Steven left immediately and ignored Amandaconda’s shout at him.

“You b**ch, you meant that, right? You purposely ask him out!” She shouted at me.

“Congrats, you’re right,” I teased and sneered at her.

She was about to attack me out of annoyance but I raised the knife I was holding at her.

“First of all, I have a knife in my hand. Second, you’re in my territory. The third time you approach me, this knife will slice your throat. Remember that. Don’t me, cause if you are a devil, I’m Satan!”

“You can’t take Steven from me, remember that.” She said and walked away.

“Girl for the record I’ve done it already. I didn’t do that much how much more if I try to do something,” I teased her with a smile. It’s a good feeling when you know that the person in front of you is annoyed because of you.

“Of course you can do that because you’re a slut. It’s your job to steal, right?”

I shrugged my shoulder.

“It’s okay. I flirted, he flirted back so we’re even. How about you? You’re trying your best to seduce him but he’s ignoring you. Why is that?” I smirked. “Is it because you’re ugly?”

“Argh! I hate you!”

“The feeling is mutual so I hate you too”

“It’s not because you have Steven, his family is also on your side. For the record, I’m close to his family, so don’t expect any more. You’re only after money from him,” she said and left . I just shook my head and looked at the message that Hannah sent just now.

It’s a photo of her and Hivo. They were in the pool area and Hivo was kissing Hannah’s cheek while Hannah was smiling big at the camera. It looked like, they were having fun.

“Hi future sister-in-law, your son is so sweet,” she said.

No wonder Divine is jealous of Hannah because my son is obviously close to her aunt even though they have just met.

“Where’s Amanda?” Steven asked when he arrived.

“She left,” I answered with a shrug.

“Okay”

“Are you sure that you are not the father of her baby?”

“Yes. I didn’t touch her. She just came in 2 months ago and she said that she’s pregnant and I am the father which is impossible because we haven’t seen each other in a long time.”

“Then why would she insist that you are the father of her child?”

“I don’t know..”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes. One more thing, I have no plans to have children yet. I have no plans to give up my freedom as bachelor. And I want to be with you first, just us,” Steven said, making the smile disappear from my lips.

I forced a smile and took the mayonnaise he bought.

“Why?” I asked being discomfort to his confession.

“Why are you asking?” he asked.

“Nothing.. let’s eat first before we go for a walk. I’m hungry,” I said and turned around to discard the DNA result in my bag.
