Later that day! Jhonia, Kyhe, and Daeviann return to the office. Jhonia went to her desk but doing everything she needed to get done for the day was completed everything, except the contract cooperation between Sky and Baco. A company which specializes in hiring young females who dream of becoming a model!

“Something doesn’t feel right no matter how hard I think about it, maybe it’s fine and I’m just overthinking. After all, I’m not a professional in this field. Merely using my instincts and what I learned from each job dad landed! Hmm, I should probably head home”

“Ms. Smith, is something bothering you on your first day?” Kyhe asked as he came from his office to go home and realize at 8 pm. Jhonia was still in the office at that time.

“Yes. No, maybe I’m just overthinking the information. I should head home.” Jhonia responded but seeing her that worried, it made Kyhe worried! Jhonia put on her coat and picked her purse with the files and left.

“Seeing her like this on her first day makes me uneasy for some reason.” Kyhe said to himself as he watched Jhonia walk to the employee elevator, the CEO elevator is separate from the employee elevator but for some reason, he joined Jhonia on the employee elevator and kept his distance. So Jhonia didn’t seem to be bothered by his presence in fact she felt comfortable with him there with her!

“Why did you wait until it was this late to go home?” Kyhe asked her, engaging her in a conversation.

“Why are you riding the employee elevator with me?” Jhonia asked instead responding to his question?

“It’s just us here! Now, my answer to the question?” Kyhe said, responding and reminding her of his question.

“Did you ask a question?” Jhonia asked just then the elevator stopped and Jhonia got off! Kyhe quickly followed up with her.

“Sorry, Mr. Knight but I have my own drive.” Jhonia said just after she completed her sentence she received a message. She stopped and took her from her coat pocket..

“Ms. Jhonia it seems you left work early, I called and didn’t receive an answer also, Mrs. Pinnock was trying to get to you and so was Mr. Pinnock.” Orean explained his thoughts but it was far from it, in the message he explained to her the Pinnock’s were trying to reach her, the message had just arrived to her. Jhonia sighed.

“My offer still stands if he, your driver has canceled or something happens.” Kyhe said, assuring her that he is still willing to send her home regardless.

“Thank you Mr. Knight, I will make sure such doesn’t happen again, I don’t intend to be a bother.” Jhonia thanked him and said she won’t make it happen again and saying why as she looked at him.

“What is your address?” Kyhe asked her, As he began opening the car door for her. Jhonia gave him, the Pinnock’s resident address. After she was seated, Kyhe went around the car and entered and he sat in the car.

“Let’s go.” He said to his driver, the car drove off and Kyhe realizes that unlike most female Jhonia has no interest in him, as she seated herself at the far end of the passenger seat behind his drive. His eyes wandered from his phone and over to her, she’s wearing a sky blue long skirt and white long sleeves shirt with her coat. He smiled at her as he realized that even the way she dresses for work is different. After one hour and half later.

“Please stop here, I prefer no one knows how I returned home. Thank you Mr. Knight and have a good night.” Jhonia said and explained before she got off the car when it stopped, she said her thanks and night wishes then left. Even after 45 minutes Kyhe was still there, Jhonia who had refused dinner went to her room and showered within that forty-five minutes then went to bed. Kyhe left but as he left Mrs. Pinnock’s car was getting ready to turn off into the compound and the gate began opening for her.

“Get someone to run that car’s plate number.” Mrs. Pinnock said to her driver. They went in and Mrs. Pinnock was informed that Jhonia is home immediately she went to Jhonia’s room… After entering the room and noticed that she’s asleep, Mrs. Pinnock left her and went to her room to shower, after some time she returned to Jhonia’s room.

“I’m still able to hug you, I was out all day and at some point I tried to have lunch with you but it seems you were busy. It’s been two days only but it feels like two years so, I’m going to sleep here because in the morning that thing I call son will make trouble and you will leave again. Rest my baby, mom was missing you so much.” Mrs. Pinnock said, standing at the side of the bed watching her sleep. She then joins Jhonia in bed and hugged, explaining her two days felt like years.. After hugging Jhonia into her arms and closing her eyes with a smile.

Time passed. Nearce went to Jhonia’s room and saw that she was not alone. The thought of her being with someone and the fact that Jhonia told him so herself! He stormed over and pulled the sheets. He sighs and leaves with relief from the fact that the person in bed with her is not a man but his mother. 5:21 am. When Jhonia woke up and turned to see who was hugging onto her. She smile and relax into Mrs. Pinnock arms. Jhonia became very comfortable with the thought that this could have been her real mother’s hug, so decided to go back to sleep. 6:22 AM Jhonia woke up and leave Mrs. Pinnock, to continue her sleep. She walked to her closet and picked her clothes which she chose to wear for work! After picked her clothing she went to shower while Jhonia takes her shower, while Mrs. Pinnock became aware that she’s alone. She sat up and overheard the shower she smiled and got up from the bed then make it for her, Mrs. Pinnock then went to her room and relaxed a bit before going to take a shower. Jhonia returned and realized she’s gone as she noticed the bed was also spread. She smiled and went to get dressed then walked around in her room looking through the contract file while doing so she became once more uneasy then the door opened and she refused to look up but as the silhouette that approached her, she extended her arms for a hug.

“I miss you these two days, I was busy so I didn’t return sorry mom and for not taking your calls either.” Jhonia said, explaining herself. She was unaware that the person she is hugging is not Mrs. Pinnock but her son.

“So you and mom have grown closer than ever, she missed you and you missed her.” Nearce said, and Jhonia pulled but then Mrs. Pinnock entered.

“It was merely a mistake as you know, I thought I was talking to your mother and not you.” Jhonia said stepping back from him, Mrs. Pinnock closed the door making the sound that she is there and they looked at her.

“I miss you too my dear, come have breakfast with me and talk before you leave.” Mrs. Pinnock said to her, she then smiled at Jhonia.

“Okay, also I have missed you and I was busy because I got a job. I started yesterday that’s why I missed your calls but I will make sure my phone is off silent next time, ” Jhonia continues to speak as she put down the files and leave with Mrs. Pinnock to go downstairs and have breakfast!
