Unforgiven Sins

Chapter 40: The Party

Cinyla’s POV

Noisy, crowded people and different colors will surrounds you. Many types of food and drinks are also lined up on the right side where there are a few staff standing there and watching.

“Welcome ma’am and sir!” Happy greeting from a female staff at the door. Never tire of greeting and smiling at people entering.

“Wow! That’s a lot of food and drink. Is that for us?” asked my companion Anna. I can’t catch Ruby. Where is he?

“Maybe. But I know we’re really having a party this time, did you see Ruby walk by?”

“Not yet, but maybe it’ll be here later or you can just call. It’s too big and there’s a lot of people, we’ll have a hard time,” she suggested.

I just took my mobile phone from the small black bag I was carrying. I will try what he said.

I dialed her number but the result is that it cannot be reached. Where is that girl?

“Just call him later Cinyla, let’s get dessert and a drink first. I’m hungry,” Anna invited. I couldn’t do anything but agree because even I was hungry.

While we were waiting in line and looking for something to eat, I could hear a strangely familiar voice.

“Cinylaaaa!” A woman screamed in the distance and called my name. I turned around and saw Ruby.

It quickly approached me. “Sis, you left me. You said we would wait right outside your room. Then, since you didn’t choose me, I just went to your room, but you weren’t there. But why was it open? Did you leave it?” I asked this because I was surprised.

“Hey Ruby, you’re there. Let’s eat first,” Anna invited as her mouth was full.

“Go ahead and eat, Anna,” Ruby answered as if she was still waiting for what I had to say.

“I’m sorry I lost my mind, Anna and I met here and I’m hungry too. I know I closed it, did you?”

“You can forget it, Cinyla. Yes, I just closed it, I know you have the key, right?” I nodded because when keys or any cards are needed because I really remember. I also make sure they don’t get lost in my bag.

“I’m sorry, thank you for closing the door to my room.”

He smiled “Let it go! Let’s just eat because later there will be more people in line,” he said enthusiastically and he also got in line behind me. We were just the first customers here because the very beginning of the party was 4 p. m.

Anna almost took all the food in front of us, from the entree to the dessert. This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

“Can you finish that?” I wondered because he was holding almost two plates right now.

“Sure! Just send me some juice, you know I already have it.” I don’t know if I can laugh at the look now, he immediately looked for our place. He chose his seat

on the left where a person is and you just turn and the food will be opened for you. Anna is really greedy.

“I’m really interested in you Anna, even if you’re greedy, you’re still sexy! The point, right?” Ruby complimented us with teasing and placed the food and drink she was holding on our table.

“You know so much, Ruby! Just eat, as long as you know how to balance everything. It won’t make you fat.”

“You two know, just eat until you’re full.” I will wean them. They can’t really be together because if it’s not noisy, they’ll argue.

They laughed after I said that. “You know, Cinyla, you’re really a villain. Yes, you’re the only one who likes you-” he quickly covered his mouth because he was the only one who knew.

“W-who?” Anna wondered.

“There’s nothing. Let Ruby do it.” I apologized and gave Ruby a bad look. I whispered to the wind, get ready later.

“There’s nothing wrong with what I’m saying.” He laughed like crazy because he wanted to disturb Anna. I just hope Anna lets go of what she said.

“Ruby is just really hungry, just let her be Anna,” I added and took a bite of the carbonara because I didn’t want him to think it meant anything. Ruby’s mouth was never silent anywhere.

“You guys, get your lives in order. Be careful with that, sir.” My heart beat faster when I heard what he said. “Wait, is there really going to be a party here? Why are we the only people, what a waste of food.” Anna changed the conversation.

Ruby’s mouthful was steady as she listened as if she was really hungry. “Maybe later, they just prepared early so we can eat,” I explained but I suddenly thought of what he said earlier. What could he mean to Sir Ben?

“What are you talking about sir, Anna?” Ruby asked finally being the only one to ask.

“That’s sir BenChua, sir! I mean, I’ve heard a lot of people in our company who tried to seduce sir, but in the end, it didn’t work!” Anna laughed at the story while eating shanghai.

“Seriously? How can you do it, Anna?” Ruby asked.

“Literally picky, Ruby. It’s like everyone is there in front of him and he doesn’t care. I didn’t really hear that he had a woman in the company or at least outside. Because he never brought one or anything, sir really just does work. So look how much our company is growing.” I was almost amazed at Anna’s explanation. It’s true that he has a crush on her and no one has yet become a girlfriend. But why me?

“Hey, Cinyla! Cinyla are you okay?” Anna approached me. “Hey, stupid girl!” He shouted right in front of me.

I coughed, “W-what?” I stuttered.

“Are you hungry? Or are you thinking about something else? You’re so stupid Cinyla, I’m constantly talking about it. Admit it, you have a crush on sir?” he teased.

“W-nothing! Nothing at all.” my defense

“You can absolutely refuse, right? You’re too defensive,” he said.

Suddenly, Ruby got upset. “How are you? Anna asked worriedly but she also brought him a drink.

“Take it easy, Ruby we have a lot to eat.” Anna’s reminder.

I rubbed its back to recover immediately. “Be careful next time,” I said.

It only took a few moments before it started and BenChua was there in front with his mom. I don’t know if his eyes are focused on me but his gaze is melting.

“Good evening everyone! I hope you are ready. Let’s begin the party,” he said with a smile while still looking at me.

“Later we will have a dance,” he added, causing everyone to shout.

Is he looking at me? I asked myself because he didn’t take his eyes off me until I got off.

“You alright?” asked Anna.

“Y-yeah!” Then I took a sip of juice because of the tension I was feeling.

His stares disappeared and I was able to breathe properly. I just hope he doesn’t do anything, I really hope!
