Simon’s Pov

I was happy that finally, I found my mate, I didn’t know what else to say.

“Have your seat, you must be thirsty right? What should I get for you?” I asked her smiling and she smiled in return saying, “Water.”

“Okay, I will get it immediately for you,” I added.

“Finally we found our mate,” Jay said.

“Now you can let me have some peace of mind right? No more bothersome.”

“But you are so weird you know, look at what you said to her, I think you should be rated number zero when it comes to women you know.”

“Whatever.”

I took the bottle of water from the fridge and passed it to her.

“Thank you.” She smiled saying it.

“Are you fine? Did anything happen to you?”

“Nothing serious, I think my mom knows she will miss me, she develop a little illness so I had to stay back with her before leaving.” She replied smiling.

“My name is Simon.”

“Call me Fiona.”

“Fiona nice name.”

“Are you going to reject me?” She asked.

“Oh never, why will I reject my mate? That can never happen you know, I won’t let it happen.”

“Thank you so much for accepting, I heard cases that some usually reject their mates, I always had this fear.”

I held her hands saying, “I accept you as my mate and I will cherish you forever.”

“I accept you too.”

“I guess we have a lot of things to catch up on together right? But first, let me take you home to have your rest, you can’t work today.” I said to her and she smiled.

Her smile makes me so delighted, we stepped out together and entered my car, and I could not stop looking at her.

“The Alpha will be happy to know I found you now.”

“Just be free, you are sincerely welcome to our home. The Alpha mate welcoming party is fast approaching and you have to be by the luna’s side.”

“That’s not a problem, I love parties.” She said and I grew jealous a little, if she loves parties, that means, she must have danced with a lot of guys.

“Do you dance at parties too? Like with guys?”

“Yes I do, it’s fun there you know.” She felt relaxed saying it and I felt jealous now, but I can’t show it to her, I just met her today and I don’t wish to do anything to make her upset.

We got to the mansion and I took her things to my room, since she is my mate, it’s wrong to let her stay with the workers, she has to stay with me alone before the other process.

“Feel free, I will check on the Alpha.”

“Okay, and thank you, Simon.”

I took a step closer to her looking at her lips and my heart was beating so fast as I tried to place a kiss on her lips, one of the maids opened the door.

“I am sorry Beta Simon.” She left immediately, damn the maids.

“I will see you soon,” I said leaving in a hurry not knowing what else to say to her. Why will the maids come in now?

I walked to her to inquire and she explained herself as coming to ask my mate what she will like to eat.

“You can go in and meet her, make sure you take good care of her,” I replied her going to meet Lorde.

“Where are you Alpha Lorde, I am at the mansion now.” My mind linked with him.

“Come to the nurse quarters, Amelia is receiving treatment.”

“What the hell happened? I am coming now.” I ended the mind link rushing to where he was at the moment.

“What happened to the future luna?” I asked him.

“We had a little disagreement and….” He explained it in detail to me.

“I must be realistic to you Alpha, you hurt her feelings even if you are the reason she fell in the bathroom.”

“I got jealous of the whole thing you know and her sister told me how she likes him.”

“For moon goddess’ sake, that’s childhood we are talking about not real feelings, you need to work on your anger so you won’t make your mate feel uncomfortable.” I had to advise him and he nodded.

“What brought you back to the mansion?” He asked as expected.

“Guess?” I said.

“Should I kill you right now or what?” He added and I shook my head, he is such a good friend weirdly.

“I know you suck at guessing and will never kill me, I found my mate.”

“Finally you are welcome to the home of couples, I am happy for you.” He said hugging me so tight.

“Thank you and I am so happy that I am free from you for good you know,” I added and he hit my shoulder.

The nurse came out saying, “Alpha Lorde, Luna Amelia is awake now.”

“Finally, let’s go and see her.” Alpha Lorde said with excitement but the nurse stopped us.

“I am sorry Alpha, you can hurt me now but the Luna doesn’t want to see you now, because of her health please respect her decision.”

I got shocked and I had to tap his shoulder to make him understand.

“I will go talk to her and you just have to remain calm okay? Like I said earlier what you did hurt her feelings okay?”

“Sure no problem, I will take a run.” He said.

“No, you are not running, please remain here while I talk to her, and mark my words, she will let you in okay?”

“Fine, I will sit here and wait for you then.” He replied and I took my step in.

I saw Amelia on the bed with tears flowing from her eyes.

“Amelia, how are you feeling?”

“Beta Simon didn’t know you are back.”

“Yes I am, I found my mate and I came back to let you know so you won’t be lonely again.” She smiled.

“Thank you.”

“Alpha Lorde told me what transpired. What happened to you in the bathroom?”

“He forced me to eat the chocolates when I don’t want to.”

“Can you make me understand Amelia?”

“I am allergic to chocolates.” She replied.
