Amelia’s Pov

I didn’t wish to hide it from the beta so I told him I was allergic to chocolate.

“Is Alpha Lorde aware of this?” He asked.

“No, he is not.”

“You know you can’t blame him, if he had known, he would not have forced you to have them. I felt his jealousy made him have said or done some wrong things.”

“I guess you are right, that’s why I don’t wish to see him,” I replied.

“I am saying sorry on his behalf and give him another chance, you can’t stay angry with your mate forever.”

“Fine, you are right then.”

“Besides he felt so jealous knowing from your sister that you always like the man Erick.”

“You mean Katherine told him?”

“Yes, that’s the reason, so please.”

“Fine, he can come in after I am done resting,” I replied to him and he took his leave thanking me.

“I told you Katherine has not changed, now you see what she did to your love life with Lorde.” Red, my wolf side said.

“Come on Red, maybe she just told him about him doesn’t mean she did it to cause an issue. I guess Alpha Lorde was just jealous that’s all.” I replied to her.

“When will you stop being so stupid Amelia? Can’t you see what is going on? Who knows if she wasn’t the one who told him about getting you chocolates just to harm you?”

“She can’t do such a thing to me Red and stop thinking negatively about my sister, I know you hate her.”

“Whatever, I want to rest now, you should also rest as well.”

“Okay Red, let’s rest for now but don’t forget the welcoming party is getting closer and now that Simon found his mate, I won’t be bored anymore.”

I woke up with the scent of Alpha Lorde around me, I saw him sitting close to me with sadness in his eyes and holding a bouquet.

“I am so sorry Amelia, please forgive me, I didn’t know a thing.” He said to me.

“Lorde, I have never liked anyone like you and I am sincere with you alone, please know that,” I assured him.

“I do now, just give me another chance to make things right again with you.” He asked caressing my hair on the bed.

“You got so many chances,” I replied he smiled kissing my forehead.

“Are you feeling better to walk now?”

“Yes, I am.”

“Good, let’s go have dinner with everyone.” He said and I don’t even know it’s evening already.

“How will you know it’s the evening when you slept for so long.” Red teased.

“I don’t have the strength for you Red,” I added and she laughed.

“Dinner then,” I replied Lorde standing up on my feet and he refused to let me walk, instead, he carried me in his arms and I felt so shy.

“You look so beautiful, mate.” He added and I blushed like an idiot not knowing what to say right now.

He brought me upstairs to his room so I will have my bath and get ready for dinner in the next twenty minutes.

I love him so much and I am still lucky to have him in my life.

Lorde’s Pov

I left her in my room to have her bath going to meet Simon.

“Did you tell her?” He asked of me and I nodded

“No, I didn’t, do you think is right for me to tell her, that her sister suggested the chocolate?” I asked Simon and he understood what I meant.

“So what do we do?” Simon asked.

“Well, bring Kathrine to my office here without Amelia knowing, I want to talk to her personally.”

“Are you sure you can control yourself while talking to her?”

“I would suggest you find out the reasons he decided to do that to her.” Raja my wolf side suggested the idea to me.

“Simon, I will be able to control my temper, I just wish to find out her reason for telling me to buy her sister what she is allergic to.”

“I know that,” I replied to him going to my office in my home. I made use of this office for important and necessary matters.

The door got opened revealing Katherine and I gave her the go-ahead to sit.

“Tell me honestly, do you know your sister is allergic to chocolate?” I asked her trying to cool myself and she replied, “Yes, I almost forgot about it, I thought by now she is healed from it, did something happen?”

I look at her and couldn’t say anything more to her, “She is fine now, thank you for coming, you may leave.” I added standing up.

“Do you need my help for anything else?” She asked and I hated the way she reacted.

“No, I don’t.”

“Well if you need my help for anything kindly tell me, I will not hesitate to do it.” She added looking like someone desperate for something.

“I won’t forget that.” She left and I walked to the fridge close by to drink a glass of water.

“Are you sure she is not faking it?” Raja asked.

“I doubt that, anyway let’s join the family for dinner, mother will nag me if I don’t go early,” I said to Raja.

I walked to the dinner and Simon joined me as well.

We all sat down in the dining, I held Amelia’s hands smiling.

“Everyone meet Fiona, my mate,” Simon said.

“Welcome to the family Fiona,” I said to her smiling.

“I am so happy to meet you,” Amelia said.

“Now we have a complete home, Fiona you are welcome, we need to plan your dress for the welcoming of Amelia.” Mother added and we smiled knowing she is just seeing the brief side of mother.

I was happy eating with everyone then Simon got a text message on his phone and he looked at me.

“What is it?” My mind linked with him.

“The result is out.” He replied.
