“After dinner, we go there to see for ourselves,” I said to him and he nodded.

We finished eating the meal and I kissed Amelia.

“You are so beautiful, love.”

“Thank you, Alpha Lorde.”

“I will be going out with my beta to check on something, will see you when I get back,” I said to her calmly.

“Well, I might sleep off if you don’t come early.”

“Then if I meet you asleep, I will wake you up with a kiss,” I promised her and she blushed.

“Okay then, see you soon and be safe.” She said caressing my hair.

“Thank you so much, my love.” I kissed her cheek before leaving and joined Simon in the car.

“Are you going to drive me there, Simon?” I asked him.

“What are we going to do about it when we see it?” Simon asked.

“We find whoever is behind this by searching for them and making sure they get punished as well.”

“I would love to participate in that punishment.” He added and I smiled briefly.

We arrived at the lab and he welcomed us in. Taking our seat I said, “Tell us the result, I don’t have much time to spend here.”

“I know you will be so impatient, how did I ever become your wolf side?” Raja said.

“That happened because we both are meant to be Raja,” I replied to him and he just told me to focus on the result and leave him to rest.

“I won’t waste much of your time Alpha Lorde.”

“Good.”

“We discovered the person behind this is using the blood of werewolves like us to create this monster and the painful part, they are using the kids.” He said and I got shocked at it same with Simon.

“Let me guess, they are trying to build an army that can take us down?”

“Yes, that’s what they are doing and the chemical they are using was stopped from entering the country seeing how harmful it can be but I don’t know how the person laid a hand on it.” The lab doctor said.

“Thank you so much fot the news, I guess we are going to find out who is behind it and punish them,” I replied standing up.

“Make sure you don’t share the result with anyone, this remains a secret to us three, is that taken?” Simon demanded from the lab doctor and he said, “Yes Beta Simon, it will remain a secret to us all.”

“Simon let us go,” I ordered him and he followed my steps to the car.

I could no longer control the anger as I roared out, I almost shifted into a wolf to run a little but he calmed me down saying, “We are going to find them.”

“Simon, who do you think might be responsible for this? I have done my best to be the great Alpha of all time, I make sure I protect the packs and other packs under me.” I said.

“You are the most powerful Alpha I have ever known and all these happening, I think the person is fighting to become the Alpha of all Alphas.”

He was right about what he said but whoever is trying to do this should know when we meet, I won’t take any pity on him, I am going to reap out his heart, many innocent werewolves died because of him.

I entered the car and Simon drove us back home.

“Good night Simon,” I said to him.

“Good night Alpha Lorde, be nice to Amelia.” He replied before taking his leave then my mother came from nowhere and pulled my ear.

“Ouch, mother it hurt, please stop.” I said to her instead she used her hands to hit me, “You silly boy, if your father showed me, love, as you do to Amelia, I would have rejected him at once.”

“Mom, I know you are angry, yes I went too far but please take things easy with me.”

“Don’t say a word, shut up and come with me, you silly boy.” She dragged me to her room, this is my mother for you but at the end of the day, I still love her and I will choose her always to be my mother.

“Tell me, what are you going to do, to apologize to Amelia, she got hurt because of you.” She yelled.

“Mom, I already told her sorry and she is cool with it already,” I explained myself and I regretted while I did so, she hits me again.

“You are the Alpha yes, but such a big fool, I would have preferred Erick to even become her mate instead of you.”

“Mom, that’s not fair at all,” I said to her.

“Yes I know, it’s not fair but the Erick you were jealous of could have apologized properly.”

“What proper way are you talking about mom?” I asked her trying to understand where the conversation was going.

“Make a reservation tomorrow at a top-notch restaurant, there you apologize to her with flowers, gifts, and more. Make it romantic and then she will forgive you genuinely.”

“Yes mother, that’s why I got you in my life, damn I didn’t even think about it all this while.” I expressed myself.

“That’s why you are a silly boy, now out from my room.”

“Good night mother.” I kissed her cheek heading toward my room. Amelia was fast asleep and I kissed her cheek as I got to my room.

“Sleep well, my love.” I didn’t wish to wake her up so I got ready to put off my clothes to have my night bath.

Stepping out of the bathroom, my phone rang and it was a call from Andre my cousin.

“The award of the best ghost of the month goes to you cousin,” I said and he started laughing.

“I am sorry about that cousin, I had some things to fix that’s why I traveled but I will be back soon.”

“I understand, sometimes someone needs his or her privacy, well are you back now?”

“Not yet but soon, do you miss me that much?”

“Nah, I don’t.” I lied and he laughed about it.

“I know you just lied but anyway, how are you doing cousin?” He inquired.

“I am okay, so I hope you will be around for my mate’s welcoming party, don’t tell me no for an answer cause I won’t accept it.”

“Oh I heard about it, congratulations cousin, don’t worry I will at home before the celebration and I will love to see the mate given to my silly cousin.” We laughed about it.
